The Somatic Repatterning Method is a nervous system based process that helps you shift the emotional patterns driving overthinking, people pleasing, and overwhelm. It works by combining regulation, subconscious work, and guided experiential processes to update the deeper learning your body is still responding to. What is somatic hypnotherapy?

Somatic hypnotherapy is a specialized form of therapy that works with the body's nervous system to release stored tension and shift subconscious patterns that may be contributing to your current emotional state.

How does it work for HSPs?

This work is informed by research on memory reconsolidation, a process in the brain where emotional memories become temporarily malleable when they are activated. In that window, new emotional experiences can update the original learning rather than just covering it over with insight or coping strategies.

From an HSP perspective, this is especially relevant because highly sensitive nervous systems tend to encode emotional experiences more deeply and rapidly. Which means patterns like overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or people-pleasing aren’t just habits, they are learned predictions the system continues to run for safety.

By combining somatic regulation with guided experiential processes, we work with the body’s real-time response system, not just the thinking mind, so those predictions can begin to update at the source.

What can I expect during a session?

Each session is a calm, private sanctuary. We typically begin with a brief conversation to understand your goals, basic education around the nervous system and it's states, followed by a guided relaxation process where you enter a state of deep, focused awareness. I bring in a blend of somatic (body based), nervous system, and subconscious work, plus a dose of regular ol coaching! Everyone's sessions look different, and the pace we move depends purely on you and your sensitive system. 

Is it safe and effective?

Absolutely. Hypnotherapy is a safe and evidence-based practice. It is a tool for self-healing and personal growth, allowing you to work with your own inner wisdom to shift limiting beliefs and patterns.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Many people experience significant shifts after just a few sessions, while others may benefit from a longer-term healing journey. I recommend booking a free consult to see what would best support you!
