About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily

A fellow Highly Sensitive Person who went most of my life doing everything I could to ignore my Sensitivity. As a child I was the the 'shy' one.  I'd watch from afar as other kids ran off on adventures, doing kid things, too overwhelmed by the potential consequences to take part.

After the loss of my mother, I learned that we don't talk about our big feelings, so I found ways to shut them down (binge drinking, binge eating, partying). Eventually I experienced daily anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues and a lot of other unpleasant things. It wasn't until I worked with a practitioner who taught me how to slow down and explore my feelings that I realized how much I had shrunk my life down trying to avoid them.

Now, I realize what a gift my sensitivity is, but that feeling only came after I learned how to support myself and my sensitive system.  I've now built I life that makes me excited to wake up every day, and I want to show other Highly Sensitive People that this type of joy is possible for them too!

-150 Hour Professional Highly Sensitive Human Coach Certification
-Certified Hypnotherapist, and currently finishing another 100+ hours of training to gain Clinical Hypnotherapist Title
-Diploma in Holistic Nutrition
